Vendors around the square may solicit persistently, so decline and move on if you do not plan to shop.

Admission is charged in two parts and guide fees may be separate, so confirm the total cost before entry and check the amount charged in dollars if paying by card.

This is the largest ecological reserve at the southern end of Cozumel. It has a navigation museum, Celarain Lighthouse, crocodiles, beaches, snorkeling, and boat rides; the lighthouse offers views across Cozumel.
The paths through the park are long and there is no shade, making it difficult to explore on foot, so plan to use a car or taxi.

This coastal viewpoint on the island's east side has dramatic scenery of huge waves and rocky cliffs. It is also known as a sunrise spot.
On windy days, waves crash strongly against the rocks around the viewpoint, so take care near the water.

This museum in central San Miguel covers the island's history and marine ecology. It exhibits traditional fishing tools, Maya artifacts, and marine specimens, and screens short documentaries.

This is considered one of Cozumel's worthwhile places to visit, together with the San Gervasio Maya ruins.
Tours interpreted in several languages at once may take longer, so choose a tour in your language if possible.
With enough time in port, you can explore beyond the city. One-way times are approximate.

Named after the Mayan phrase for 'little sea,' this park has a coastal cenote. It offers diving and snorkeling tours, dolphin experiences, a beach, zip-lining, tequila-facility tours, gardens, and nature trails.
Check whether snorkeling equipment rental, food, and drinks are included in your ticket or package to avoid extra costs on site.
